Does RIW find me a position?

While the RIW program does not identify internship opportunities for students. Career Services can facilitate the internship search process for you. A great way to get started is to schedule an appointment with a counselor at Career Services. The Career Services website, is another helpful resource.
Some internships are paid and some are for credit only. Internships are available for all majors, not just political science

How does the program work?
While interning or visiting Washington DC during the summer, students can participate in as many programs as they want.

What are my next steps?
RIW is an excellent opportunity to network with other Rutgers students and alumni. Whether you are looking for contacts for future job assistance or want to meet other students in the Washington, DC area, RIW allows you to meet people during various events.
